Intervention 06: Karina
An intervention is a deliberate process by which change is introduced into peoples’ thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Karina did just that by kicking things into high gear last week at Sunday’s Rooftop. The Zoo Project artist played a lot of our favorite records and some frequently heard at Sunday’s Rooftop. Enjoy!

Leonel Castillo is a DJ and Producer from Buenos Aires. Producing for over a decade and DJ’ing for much longer, Leonel’s selections are deep and timeless. Here he lays down an hour and a half of slow, rare gems.

Breiten is our dear music-business savvy friend, DJ, and all around party vet who resides in Cologne. He’s becoming more and more in-demand as a DJ with recent shows in Germany, Belgium, and some in the States. Check out his Facebook page and press Like, we hope to host him in DC soon.

Intervention 02: K.atou
It’s been a minute since we’ve had a new Intervention but well worth the wait. Perhaps best known for her collaborative effort with Mikael Stavöstrand on Die A Little, K.atou mixes old rarities with fresh grooves and never ceases to amaze us. Keep an eye out for her upcoming productions!

Intervention 01: Mikael Stavöstrand
Mikael Stavöstrand hails from Sweden as one of the key figures of the Swedish techno scene. The producer, dj, and label-owner of the Sunset Diskos imprint has been producing electronic music since the early 90s. Our frist Intervention is a live recording from Oct of ’10 at The Loft in DC. We’ve heard a number of sets from Mikael but the energy level and flow of this extended mix make it our favorite.
